You will need to check with your college, university, or nursing school to determine if they allow you to take the TEAS test multiple times until you get a passing score or if you simply want a higher score than your original one. Many places will allow you to take it three times and if you do not pass it, you will probably not be accepted into their particular nursing program. Some other colleges, universities, and nursing schools will allow you to take it as many times as you need to get your score up, but some students wonder how they can pass that TEAS test on the first try.

How to Pass the TEAS Test on the First

First of all, you need to find out from the college, university, or nursing school that you want to attend what they expect your score to be so that you will be considered to be passing. Some schools will require each student to achieve a score that is at least in the 60s to have his or her application considered for enrollment into a nursing program while other programs will require that the student ends up with a score that is at least in the 80s. What Does the TEAS Test Consist Of?

The TEAS exam consists of a total of 170 multiple-choice questions.

For example, the TEAS reading section of the exam has a total of 53 questions and each student will have 64 minutes to answer them. The math section has 36 questions that will have to be answered in a total of 54 minutes. This part of the exam will have students answer math problems that contain numbers, measurement, data interpretation, and algebra. In the science portion of the exam, students will need to answer 53 questions in 63 minutes and will be assessed on topics, such as life and physical sciences, scientific reasoning, and human anatomy and physiology. In the English and language usage section of that TEAS test, students will be expected to answer 28 questions in 28 minutes. This part of the test will assess students’ knowledge of being able to use proper grammar and sentence structure and will test them on contextual words and spelling. The students will even be asked to write it piece to show how they can change from passive voice to active voice and even how to find misspelled words in a passage that has already been written.
